Baby Love
Seriously, there is something beautifully captivating about a mamma to be. It's a combination of strength and confidence in nurturing an unseen human being that is, to me, such a lovely thing. Yes, there are many moments throughout the nine month journey that leave a mother-to-be exhausted. My daughter was two years old when I carried my twins. I lumbered through the months, counting the days until I could deliver healthy babies. Everyone cautioned me that twins often came early. Mine did not. They delightfully held out for the full 40 weeks!
Anyway, I digress.
Lindsey was one of those women who I believe really exuded that confidence that spoke about. She rocked the champagne maternity gown, which I purchased from Belly Baby Wear for a whopping $78. Of course, in achieving the final image, several bits of tossing were incorporated into the final image. Additionally, I integrated textures and painterly strokes to achieve a cohesive feeling. By incorporating some frequency separation, I was able to eliminate distracting elements (panty lines, etc) so that the finished artwork was clean and beautiful.
Thank you, Michelle DeLaVera, with Michelle DeLaVara Photography, for including me on this shoot. Because of our different styles, I chose only to share those that were distinctly different. (Check out her work! She's awesome!). It's always fun to include a photographic artist in your shoot. You never know what you're going to get. Adding photographic art to your items offered by your studio is a win win for all.
I know that this year has been challenging. But I'm choosing to focus on the positive things....like new life, art, and happiness.
