Through the Sculptor's Eyes
As I admire carefully sculpted statues, my intensely wild imagination envisions them coming to life, cracking the divide between reality and fantasy. One way I've been able to satisfy these musings is to use the tools of compositing and photoshop to create two dimensional visual narratives. Many of my paintings were created as a result of my membership to the Huntington Gardens where I am member of the Artist Guild. These images are my own artistic and personal representation of these magificent scultures, and I am grateful to donate whatever I create back to the Gardens. "Goddess of Life" was the first image to be presented for their personal enjoyment. Some people paint or photograph the gorgeous flora that grace the amazing lawns....I paint what I see in the statues. These images are not for sale. They represent my Artist Guild membership.
